Ayrton Senna was a brilliant and special person.

Ayrton first
entered in a kart at the age of four. His father Milton Senna, was an entrepreneur
in the auto sector in the northern zone of São Paulo, he made a small vehicle
with a motor mower 1 horsepower. The family realized that the boy was
exceptional at the age of seven, when on his father's farm in a jeep it was not
difficult to press the clutch, he changed gears ear, guided by the roar of the
engine. With this he won his second kart, this time a more professional one. At
nine he participated in his first race,
on the streets of Campinas.
His debut
in the competition was only at thirteen, in July 1973. A year later he was the
regional champion in the junior category. As a perfectionist, he practiced
whenever he could and spent nights cleaning and repairing his kart. Meanwhile
the school was not going so well. He attended Elementary school at Gymnasium
Santana. At eleven years old he was transferred to College Rio Branco. He never
was a model student, but he stood out more for his home education and shyness.
The only Kart
title that he was missing was in the world champion. He graduated in 1977. He never
went to get the diploma. His parents wanted him to take over the family
business, but they soon saw that Senna wanted to compete.
