Ilha do Mel- Brazil
Ilha do Mel is a tourist spot of great importance in the state of Paraná. Many people consider that the island has the best beaches in the state.
The island, is part of the municipality of Paranaguá, and it is administered by the Environmental Institute of Paraná and has a strict management program.
There is no permission for animals or motor traction on the island. There are many areas where visitors are allowed. The island has some prominent attractions like the fortress and the lighthouse.
Ilha do Mel is located in the South Atlantic Ocean and is situated 15 miles from the Port of Paranaguá, with its closest point to the mainland, 4 km Pontal South, in the city of Pontal do Paraná, Paraná , Brazil.
The climate is transitional between the subtropical and tropical, super-moist, without a dry season and no frosts. The average temperature is 31 ° maximum and the minimum 13°. The average water temperature is 21º in the summer and in the winter it is 17°. There are an average of 166 maximum sunny days a year, to a minimum of 133 days The rainfall average mm / year is a minimum of 3250mm and the maximum 1750mm.
Of its 2700 acres there are only 200 are allowed to use - the rest is reserve area listed by Heritage in 1975, it is administered by the Environmental Institute of Paraná since 1982. The tourists find hotels and small restaurants.
The island has five villages: Fortaleza, Brasilia or New Brasília, Lighthouse, Praia Grande and Encantados.

Foz do Iguaçu- Brazil
Foz do
Iguaçu is a beautiful place, in my point of view the most beautiful falls that I have seen!

do Iguaçu is located in the Brazilian state of Paraná.
It´s beauty
brings a lot of tourists, being the second destination of foreign tourists in
the country and the first in the southern region of Brazil.
It is known
internationally as one of the 7 Wonders of Nature.
In 1542, a Spanish man, Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca arrived in the Iguazu River and was guided
by the Caingangues Indians, it was this way that he reached the falls. He is known as the
"discoverer" of the Falls.
The history
of the Iguaçu National Park begins in 1916, with Alberto Santos Dumont, the father of aviation.
Foz do
Iguaçu is internationally known for its attractions, bringing visitors from
Brazil and the world. The most famous of these is the set of falls called
Iguazu Falls.
Near Foz do Iguaçu we can see the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant, the second largest in the world in size and first in generating power.
The Itaipu Binational Hydroelectric is the largest
dam in the world in annual energy production.
Foz do Iguaçu borders the contries of Argentina
and Paraguay. It has many other interesting places that atract many.
Another
attraction offered by neighboring cities is the ability to meet the Argentine
side of the Falls.

Salvador, Bahia
Salvador was founded as São Salvador da Bahia de Todos os Santos.
It is a Brazilian city, the capital of Bahia and Brazil's first capital.
Salvador has more than 2.6 million inhabitants, the largest city in the Northeast, the third most populous of Brazil and the eighth most populous in Latin American. It is surpassed by São Paulo, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Lima, Bogota, Rio de Janeiro and Santiago.
It has 3,574,804 inhabitants surveyed in 2010 by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), that the makes it the third most populous Northeast city, the seventh in Brazil and one of the 120 largest in the world.
