Cities of Brazil- Búzios



                                          


Búzios is a municipality in the state of Rio de Janeiro located in the Region of Lakes. It borders the west to Cabo Frio, a municipality which became autonomous in 1995. It is located about 165 km from the capital of the state.

It is a peninsula eight kilometers long with 23 beaches. It gets ocean currents from the Ecuator line and ocean currents from the south pole, which means it has beaches both warm waters and icy waters. Among the main beaches stand out Geribá, John Fernandes, Horseshoe, Ferradurinha, Easel, Manguinhos, Turtle, Bones, Tucuns      and Brava.


Buzios, has strong winds. It is an ideal place for practicing sailing and gliding. The average annual temperature is 24 ° C and has the lowest rainfall in the state of Rio de Janeiro, only about 750mm annually. Búzios is a town that has many different cultures and a large number of foreigners.
